For over 40 years, Nestor Company has been a wholesaler in access control, security, and automation for professional installers. From Deinze, the company supplies products from brands such as: Able, DNAKE, Rolling center, Stagnoli, XPR, RIB, Geba, Fasttel, ... to installation companies, project, and engineering firms in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. With over 15,000 products in its range, its own showroom, and training programs, Nestor is a key point of contact in the sector.
Challenge
Nestor Company had an existing B2B webshop on Sana Commerce, but it was reaching its limits. The cost of the platform increased as the number of customers and SKUs grew, and it was not user-friendly.
Solution
Migration to Fonda Professional
The entire Sana platform was replaced by Fonda Professional. Products, customers, price lists, and history were migrated. The full set of Fonda Pro features was rolled out: B2B webshop, customer portal, PIM, and the standard integration with SAP Business One.
Real-time customer data from SAP Business One
The ERP integration forms the core of the project. Invoices, orders, quotes, shipments, and returns come directly from SAP Business One and are visible to every installer in the customer portal. When the internal sales team processes an order or creates a delivery note, the customer sees it in their dashboard within seconds. This has a direct impact on the number of status inquiries the internal sales team receives.
Customer-specific pricing and real-time stock
Every installer and every project or engineering firm has its own pricing agreements with Nestor Company. This pricing logic resides in SAP Business One and is now retrieved live with every product view. The same applies to stock: the inventory level on the product page is the same as that in the warehouse at that moment. For a wholesaler that promises "ordered before noon, shipped the same day," this is a strict requirement.
Quote Module for More Complex Projects
Beyond standard orders, installers often work on projects that require a quote, such as larger access control installations or camera systems. The quote module allows customers to create their own quote directly in the portal, with the correct customer-specific prices already pre-filled. The internal sales team receives the request in a structured format and can convert it directly into an order.
