Fashion For Cycling, founded in 2003, specializes in cycling accessories and clothing for women and men. Led by Cindy Van Eyck, Fashion For Cycling runs two physical stores in Lotenhulle and Geraardsbergen, in addition to a successful webshop that acts as a third branch.
Our partnership with Fashion For Cycling dates back to 2008, leading to a deep understanding of their needs and goals. This partnership has enabled us to provide customized solutions that support their growth and provide their customers with an outstanding shopping experience.
Challenge
Fashion For Cycling needed a webshop that seamlessly integrates with the Vendit POS system, so that all product data is automatically synchronized between physical stores and the online shop. The solution needed to be flexible and scalable, with expandability and an intuitive experience for both customers and administrators. Our challenge was to develop a robust platform that accurately processes complex Vendit data while meeting the high expectations of modern consumers.
Solution
Development of the webshop
Fonda offers flexibility and expansion options. The integration with Vendit ensures that all product information, including categories, photos, inventory, and specifications such as sizes and brands, is updated automatically. This integration works in two directions: orders via the webshop are transferred directly to the checkout system.
User-friendly navigation and presentation
The webshop has been designed with intuitive navigation and an attractive visual presentation to capture visitors' attention and help them find the products they want quickly. The product pages are carefully structured with detailed information, and inventory synchronisation is consistent so that inventory levels are always accurate.
Mollie integration for payments
For payments, we have realized an integration with Payment Service Provider Mollie. This offers customers various payment methods such as credit card, bancontact, bank transfer, eco checks, and gift cards. After a payment has been completed in Mollie, shipping and order processing are automatically initiated.
Shipping optimization with Sendcloud
We linked the webshop to the Sendcloud shipping platform. This allows orders to be efficiently shipped via Bpost to a customer's home, to one of the stores, or to a shipping point. Customers can track their packages via a shipment link, which increases control and transparency.
Since the launch of our new webshop, we have noticed that it is increasingly easy for customers to find the right products independently.
